Just like any Mustang there is a story behind that car, this car is no different. So here it goes, in 2001 I bought a 1986 Mustang GT hatch It was a 74,000 mile, light Regatta blue all orignal car with the air silincer still in the car! I bought it from my girlfriends cousin for a really good price! Anyway I fell in love with that car and 4 eye foxs, but the horsepower bug bit me and my four eyed fox was just not cutting it anymore, so I traded it in for one of the last Z28's to roll off the line in 2002. Fast forward to October of 2005 a friend of mines dad, who I knew for the past couple of years had an 1986 GT vert, He drove it everyday to and from church (literally he is a preacher) until about 18 months ago he parked it. So all summer I debated buying it from him until November I finally made him an offer cause I could not bare to see it sit another winter in his yard! So for $2000.00 I drove it home and put it in my garage. The car is black with a black top and red interior. Its a 5-speed with every option for a vert in 86 save for leather. The car has 168,000 miles on the odometer, its very easy miles, Im the 3rd owner the first owner was a older gentalman and the 2nd owner was my preacher friend who told me he never took it over 3500RPM and I belive him. After sitting for 18 months I went over there looked her over put a new battery in her and she fired up on the first shot! So I got her home cleaned her up changed the oil and looked her over even better and all she needs is tires and a good tune up. Other then that she is real clean, it has been painted once its not a Macco job its a little better but its not perfect, luggage rack is not orignal and a couple other little things. Iterior is a little faded but the dash has no cracks. I do not have the time to put into her, I saved her from another winter outside she deserves to go to a good home. The first $2000.00 takes it. Any questions please e-mail me turbo_omni@yahoo.com Pics before I cleaned her up can be found here http://community.webshots.com/user/keebler426 & go to www.franksperformance.com to see pics of her all cleaned up, look under the fox body discussion thread and then go to the "rare 86" topic. Here is the VIN:1FABP27M2GF233478
