Al, why not just post a decent description and maybe post a photo or two.

I'm always seeing people looking for these cars.

I'd be more helpful if I had a better clue what is being offered for $3500.

There are scads and scads of these cars being advertised al over New England. A good mental picture can make a big difference when it comes time to getting replies or phone calls.

Thanks for the input Chris. Ok here goes...it's an 86 GT with 81,500 original miles. I bought it about 12 or so years ago and when my kid came along...well...car seats don't go well in Mustangs..lol..so I bought another vehicle for Dad duty and drove the Mustang on nice weekends. I later sold it ( and regretted it) but was able to buy it back. I since then added some 3.73's and an off road exhaust with s/s exhaust and the rest is bone stock. It has a sunroof (not factory) and chrome Ponys. The interior can use a good shampoo. Dash has a small hole..no biggie. Passenger door lock doesn't work. Passenger door was lightly sideswiped (not by me) and doesn't open. (it binds and the jam but can be opened) The paint is dull but I think with a good buff, it will shine quite nicely. Any rust on the car is minimal and mostly of the surface variety. I've not been able to do much with it lately and I hate to see it wasting away in my garage/driveway. It does need some work and is an excellent candidate for some resto work. Not that it's in terrible shape but someone with the knowhow, abilities, and resources can have this diamond in the rough out and about in a short period of time.
