I have been visiting this board for a little over a year. Just for the info I own an 88Gt with a turbo coupe rear with discs and 93 cobra front rotors and calipers, along with 93 cobra wheels, 3.73's, and full exhaust. I have future plans to have the car repaired correctly from a wreck that happened before I got the car. REALLY shotty repair work. I also plan to change it over to black leather interior and rebuild the engine with a vortech and aftercooler. So I will be asking a lot of questions in the future. It is great to see this website grow!!!!! Kudos to the Bowers.

Thanks, Goodson! Yes, we're pretty excited over the changes planned for the registry and web site. This message board was definitely a big step in the right direction!

Hi Goodson,

On November 26, 2000 I talked to you about changing the clutch quad without dropping the steering column etc. I printed out your advice and just got around to making the switch this past saturday. Thanks for the advice it was a big help. Do you have any suggestion on adjusting the cable. I had to jack the car up seven times before I got it right. Thanks again Todd

No problem dude, glad I could help.

as for the cable, just adjust it to where there is 1/2" to 1" of play in the pedal at the top. I did the same thing as you though. just adjusted and readjusted it several times. and then found out what it should be set like at the pedal.
