Factory h pipe - 1982-1993 Mustang GT Registry Message Board

My convertible has bbk shorty headers with an off-road h pipe. The car smells pretty strong and not fun for cruising. Would the factory h pipe be a direct bolt on?

The stock replacement will work if you still have the air pump and supporting hardware. If you use a stock style without them you'll kill the cats.

If all the stock air pump stuff is gone you can go with new style hi flow cats welded into the off road pipe that don't need air injection to stay alive.
