Ford Window Sticker - 1982-1993 Mustang GT Registry Message Board

Here's a slick way to create a pdf of a Ford window sticker. (this didn't work for my 93 Cobra, but who knows what it will work for)

Cut and Paste the following link, then delete the space after http: then type in your VIN after where it says vin= and then hit enter. A PDF file will open and it will be your Fords original sticker.

http: //services.forddirect.fordvehicles.com/inventory/WindowSticker.pdf?vin=

The reason I put the space in after http: was so it would not come up as an empty link you would click on.

I found this on another website. The only people that had luck getting this to work were only 06 and on up. Not saying this is fact but that is what the experience was on that webpage.

When I stumbled across this info, I didn't know it only worked for 2006 and up. And yes, it only works part of the time.

Oh well, thought it might be something useful vs what it ended up being.

I work at Ford and have tried to get window stickers in vain. There was a group that used to have them, but they only hold on to 5 years now. So 2006 thru 2011. As soon as the 2012's come out, they will drop the 2006.

Good to know that this is a rolling 5 year window on this method of getting window stickers. The only other source for info (not window stickers) is Fords History Report but they are riddled with errors.

Ford told me my 93 Cobra has a 4.6 V8. Oh well...

When we first started the GT Registry back in 1994, we had a contact at Ford that we used to request/obtain window stickers from for the registry. But even back then they had the policy that about 5 years after the cars were new, they were no longer available.
