Cleaned up a bunch of spammer posts today - 1982-1993 Mustang GT Registry Message Board

Sorry about all the spam posts lately, everyone.

Turn your back for a little while and that's what happens... I think I got everything cleaned up and the offenders are banned. I decided to lock down the registration so all new users have to be approved manually. That should cut down on the riff raff around here.

I am happy to see the registry cleaned up with everything back where it used to be .Let's hope you won't have any more problems.

Thanks for cleaning all of that up.

Lately, I've been noticing many strange posts here that didn't make much sense.

I don't think it is limited to this forum. Recently, I've noticed a significant uptick in spam posts in another forum that I am a member of. In fact, the owner of that site just cleaned it up yesterday.

From what I understand, sometimes, it is not even a human that is doing it. I've been informed that these spam posts can be computer-generated.
