Thumbs up Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield

While doing a little TV watching last night, I caught this Ghost show on The Sci-Fi network. They were in Mansfield, Ohio and at this old prison that was closed for business.

This is a real cool looking place.

Have any of our regulars ever visited this place?

Just joining I'm not a "regular" but have finally visited this prision recently. You are correct it is an awesome place. This prision is where they filmed the Sawshank Redemption, parts of Tango & Cash, & a few others I'm forgetting. The local historical society has taken ownership and is slowly renovating the place as a museum. Here is a link to some of the more "artsy" photos I took while on my visit.

If I remember correctly, it seems as if the entire city of Mansfield is closed.
