Default Looking at a 92 mustang gt. Need help

Hey guys. I'm new to this forum, just wanna say what's up. I found a pretty clean foxbody on craiglist but want to ask you guys about it first. I'll post the link.

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/1958222616.html

The car is really clean and has low miles. Flaws would be the light switch has a short but they do work and the autolock button is broken. Also I doubt this will pass smog because of all the mods however he does have the stock H pipe. And with all those mods and no tune, won't the engine be running a little rich and under more stress? Let me know what you guys think. The guy sounds legit so I would buy from him except I would want most stock parts, it not all so I can get it to pass smog. Thanks a bunch!

I don't think it's worth that much. The mods it has aren't really significant and don't really mix well. It does not list any cylinder heads so im guessing they're stock but yet it has a cam, intake, t-rex fuel pump and 24lb injectors.

Those mods really do nothing without better cylinder heads. The only thing that is really helping is the 3.73 gears.

I would find a stock or close-to stock 5.0 and go your own route. Buying a modified car just brings on a whole different world of headaches.

If the car is as solid and straight as the seller states and the mileage is correct and no problems with the motor/tranny it is worth every penny of the $4700.

Wish it was closer I would be interested myself!

$4700 is good if the car's paint is as good as the body is straight.

Sometimes this cosmetic stuff is expensive compared to engine work.

Take a look at it and get back to us.

Have you seen our stuff to look for list?

Really good price for what the car has to offer. Best of luck.
