I sent an email to the Third Generation email for information on my car and Stew let me know that my car was built on 4/17/89 along with some other interesting info. Isn't this the exact date of the 25th year anniversary for our stangs? I think this is cool. Does it make my mustang a little more special or rare? Probably not but too me it does. Cool.

I used to own a '90 GT (25th anniversary). The only difference between that car and other stangs is the small emblem on the dash that said "25th Anniversary". Otherwise, identical to other stangs. Like you stated, no added value but to the owner themselves.

Thumbs up

I think what 89GT was getting at is that the build date on his car (April 17, 1989) is exactly 25 years, to the day, of the original unveiling of the Mustang back on April 17, 1964 at the World Fair!! Very cool 89GT!

However, I think that you and Donnie are both right... no added $$ value to the car. Just personal pride and interesting trivia to pass on to other Mustang enthusiasts!

Enjoy the GT!!
