Actually my original intention was to keep my car all stock, but not any more. Well, I plan to keep the body as close to stock as possible. The chassis, suspension, drivetrain, and interior is another matter. I bought my '83 GT in late '92 with 68K miles on the odometer and in all original condition except for maintenance items and a Hurst shifter. I even belonged to the Syracuse Shelby Mustang Club which consisted of mostly first generation Mustangs. If I had not had to replace the original engine, it would probably be stock to this day. When I replaced the engine I really started learning all about late model performance and just how versatile the Fox chassis is.

Wink

You can stop the "more power" bug, especially when you drive a Stang that BEGS to be blown, turbo'd, nitrous'd, and all out ripped on!
