Default Cleaned up a bunch of spammer posts today

Sorry about all the spam posts lately, everyone.

Turn your back for a little while and that's what happens... I think I got everything cleaned up and the offenders are banned. I decided to lock down the registration so all new users have to be approved manually. That should cut down on the riff raff around here.

Kathy

Hi Kathy,

Thanks for cleaning all of that up.

Lately, I've been noticing many strange posts here that didn't make much sense.

I don't think it is limited to this forum. Recently, I've noticed a significant uptick in spam posts in another forum that I am a member of. In fact, the owner of that site just cleaned it up yesterday.

From what I understand, sometimes, it is not even a human that is doing it. I've been informed that these spam posts can be computer-generated.

Thank you! I knew something was up. Never seen so much spam posted so often in one place like that before. Crazy.

The only good spam comes in a can. Cooked.
