I met somebody today who claimed to have once owned an 85 "performance lx". He claimed it was one of 1500 made only in 85 with some special performance upgrades including high compression and special cam. I never heard of one before and google isn't showing any results.

Any chance it was cooked up special at a dealership?

That was the first thing I asked him, he said "no, it was factory". But, he may not have understood what I meant.
