Default 87-93 Fox Body Vin Decal Locations?

Does anyone know how many VIN decals were applied to 87-93 Mustang GT's and their locations?

I know of the following eight (8) for an 87 GT;

Right inside fender
Left inside fender
Hood right side
Left Door
Right Door
Hatch
Inside hatch opening, both sides.

Were there any applied to the firewall or any other place on the body?
Thanks for your input.

Nothing to see here. I misread the post date.

Vin number location

Any Mustang after 1986 has factory applied VIN # decals which include the complete (17) digit VIN #:

Front bumper cover (found sometimes on top edge near center hood latch, or on the inside)
L & R front fenders (usually along the top inner edges closer to firewall)
Hood (usually affixed to the RIGHT (passenger) side lower corner)
L & R doors (bottoms)
L & R rear 1/4 panels (on hatch, coupe or convertible, lift hatch/trunk lid and they will be affixed to each 1/4 panel on the inner edge)
rear hatch and/or trunk lid (under it, usually on leading edge near lic plate lights)
Rear bumper cover (again, either under it or on the inside)
IF GT, Cobra or later model Mustangs w/factory ground effects (found under the parts or inside)

All of those decals will also correspond to or match the VIN # on:

metal VIN tag - on dash, driver's side
Ford Data Decal - driver's door (or on later models, B-Pillar)
Factory BUC tag - mounted to driver's side rad support, behind headlight - the BUC includes other build codes, but also includes only the last (6) digits of the vehicle's VIN

The VIN is also found elsewhere on the vehicle in the event it's stolen.

If there is no original VIN label, but you see a plain white label w/ Ford oval watermarked in background and the word "DOT" in black bold lettering on it - that part or piece of sheetmetal is a genuine Ford crash replacement panel. These panels are only available through a Ford/Lincoln/Mercury Dealer, are genuine Ford parts and are correct replacement parts meeting DOT crash safety standards.

If there is no VIN label to be found - it's anyone's guess as to why the label is missing. Stolen part? Cheap overseas reproduction part? Junkyard replacement? Body shop replacement
