Default Fun Ford 2009 - Epping, NH

On August 1516 Fun Ford Weekend comes to Epping, NH.

Is anyone planning on attending? Post here or cut me a PM if you want to swing by and talk.

Traditionally I go on Sunday's.

If the weather is right, it's a good time.

2009 was to be the 19th season of the Fun Ford Weekend and Battle of the Brands race, and the shows were set to tour the country. All that is over now, though, because American Autosports Productions, the company that ran both events, has ceased operations. The company's website now features a landing page that cites "the current economic climate" as a motivating factor for the company's disbandment.

The Battle of the Brands racing series were events dedicated to competition between the Big Three American automakers: Ford, GM, and Chrysler/Mopar. No import brands were allowed to compete in the events, which featured a number of different Bracket and Index classes, as well as Outlaw 10.5 and True 10.5 classes that were going to be introduced for the 2009 event schedule.

The Fun Ford Weekend also featured a series of racing events, as well as all the peripheral events you could expect when you gathered together a legion of Ford fans and gear heads.

OK then.

The track will be having a "UPR Products Ford Fest".

I still plan on going.

yeah sundays good for me

last year i raced and honestly it was a waste of money and more importantly time.

the time span between stock class and the other classes was atleast 2-3 hrs per round.... lots of waiting.. although i did run my fastest time (14.1) and it was 90+ degrees out
