Procharger didn't design or fab it, they sourced it from Cartech. Probably cost as much as the pump (blower), but it does work. Can use pump gas & no timing retard.

I know looking at something and seeing how it will fit under the hood of a car is way out there when it comes to performance gains.... I added a CAI to my car last summer and thought the same thing, if its better taking cooler air from outside the engine bay them keeping that air cool all the way to the intake manifold should be the trick...Air-to-air cooler on the semi trucks at work are about 4 feet long and alomst 3 feet high and about 5 inches thich, I cant imagine what an a-t-a cooler would have to be size wise to fit, get plumbed and not cause any restriction on a smaller engine bay like the Mustang. With all that extra traveling the air would have to go through to get to the butterfly it would warm up again passing into a hot plenum. The straighter the air flow the better and quicker the reaction...
