dono what trans or stall converter you had in yours but both before and after rebuild wether it's in drive or Over drive on the selector i let off the throttel and it's not free weeling it starts slowing down just like a stick and the tack dosent drop off like the AOD that's in the thunderbird dose it holds the gear solid. maby somthing ford changed on the inturnals in 93 i dont think theay would of but there is a hard shift kit in it now. and bigger bands

When I use to race with the stock trans we would start in first shift 2 second then back down to first. I think that is what I did its been awhile on a stock aod
