Default Valves or rocker noise

Hello all. I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday.

I need your help in determining what this noise is. I believe itís nothing but my rocker arms needing a lash adjustment but Iím not 100% sure. I have the trickflow top end kit installed and been driving it for the last 4 or 5 years with no issues on the street only maybe no more than 3-4 times a month. No track duty at all.

Itís making a knocking/ticking noise from what I can tell is on the drivers side only and it came out of nowhere. I was letting the car warm up in my driveway yesterday and after about 3-4 minutes it started with the noise. This has never happen before.

The video is available on YouTube below.

Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Default Re: Valves or rocker noise

I found the problem. I removed the DS valve cover and BAM, my exhaust valve rocker arm on piston #6 was so loose you shake it with you hand up and down left and right.

I adjusted the exhaust and intake rockers and closed everything back up. Then started the engine and now it runs rough, like the timing is off. Is that normal? Readjusted the timing to 10 degrees BTDC and it was off by 3 degrees. And it still runs rough.

Any thoughts?
