Welcome to the site! I can't really help you with people in your area because I am way over here in Illinois.
To find people that are like-minded and enjoy Mustangs you could do a few things: Go to local cruise-ins or race nights at tracks and if you see somebody in a Mustang go up and start a conversation or something. Go to local shows and events and do the samething if you see somebody in a Mustang. And lastly don't limit yourself to just 5.0 Mustangs. One thing I have found since going to shows and events is most any Mustang owner or enthusiast is a person I can get along with and they are all nice people, for the most part.

THAT IS SO TRUE I ALSO HAVE A 66 MUSTANG GT COUPE AND A 65 THUNDERBIRD SO I,M A CAR GUY AND LOVE TO TALK WITH PEOPLE
