Like 82 Nightmare says, social progress is great when it's in the best interest of the people and their rights as Americans.
Social progress should stop when it leaves that concept behind. I'm not against every American having health care or any of these other great ideals. What I am against is putting my health in the hands of bureaucrats. (I'm using health care as a general, relevant, example)
