How about an 87 GT with 150k on the stock engine running 13.35 with only bolt ons? Did I mention the 1.774 60fts. 3.73 gear, bbk shorty headers, pacesetters h-pipe, and flowmaster exhaust. Gotta love mustangs

That is impressive! I saw (back in '88) an '87 go about that time. This car had 3.73's, no cats, roller rockers, K&N panel filter, and good tuning. I can't remember what the short times looked like, but it just goes to show you how quick these cars can be with good driving.
For comparison a friend of mine had an 88 GT he was leasing back then. Of course the car was completely stock including it's 2.73 gears. After some practice the car would go consistant 14.50's and 14.60's around 95MPH.
It would also get like 25 plus MPG on the highway.
I love these cars!!

Bfgoodrich Comp T/A 235/60/15 w/12-15lbs of pressure i believe. That was in october. I don't really remember how much pressure i put in them. That was also with a FMS Clutch being dropped at 6000 rpms. Get the tires nice and hot, drop the clutch, and away we go......................

I saw a friend of mine take an 87LX to a 13.80 with only 3.73's and 3 chamber flowmasters.

Oh yeah!! did I mention he broke 3 trannys with that setup. The man can drive it like he hates it. i dont know what his 60ft times were like, but it was on 10.5 slicks.
