Check out some of our new cop cars!
OPP= Ontario Provincial Police.

Hope I don't get chased by one of these guys.

I wonder if J&P performs any, um, modifications on the steeds for OPP.

Wow! Is that for real? We are getting close to April Fools Day here! LOL!

Years ago The State of Connecticut was using unmarked Buick GN's.

Cool

No Joke. City of Toronto had a concept pursuit vette which blew past my buddy in his jeep down lakshore blvd doing approx 40mph in reverse! car does a smokin 180 turn, lights the meats and dissapears according to him at 3:00am in the morning. I guess that car is for that cop who is really p***ed at the guy who won't stop. Cop cars are becomming more and more serious here due to auto theft increases as well. Big business here. I don't know if J&P gets to have a hand in the cars or not? I do know that they build some of the fastest 5.0's on the strip/street though.

Wow, I'll have to be on the lookout for one of those. Never seen one before.

Topless88 is almost right... it's real but for now only a concept. There was an article about this car on the Mustang Weekly website. Sort of a revival of the SSP stangs they had in the early nineties. Don't worry about the cop following you... right now they only use it for public relations (mostly with highschool kids.)

As a sidenote, my dad saw a 1998 Ford Windstar Ghost Car in Vancouver this weekend (it was pursuing a pickup with its lights and siren blazing!) How crazy is that?! Be aware if you're out to the coast and see a tinted out 3.8L Windstar parked on the side of the highway!

Wes, Thanks. I'll check the site out to get more info. I didn't realize it was only a concept vehicle. I've seen some Bowtie (cough) pursuit vehicles here but never a 5.0. Almost wants to make you break the law just to get a closer peek.hahaha

we had the 5.0 cop cars here in the late eights untill they went out of service when cars were replaced at the end of their normall service life but let me tell you everyone knew you didnt out run a state trooper in a mustang no matter what and although they were criticized because they had alot of wrecks(silly cops couldnt handle them lol) they did serve the purpose of detering people from running

VERY NICE ! I'd like to trade the '98 Crown Vic in for one of those. It's the slowest car I've ever had.

Hey Topless88

I've seen a couple newer (1994+) Camaros out here too... I guess the cops realized that for pure power they're hard to beat in stock trim. I guarantee you that the 1987-1993 Police Stangs will outlive any Chevys in the real world though! LOL take it easy!

Red face

I dont think that would be very good if all cop cars were like that! Its kind of intimidating.
