Question Atlanta Area Clubs?

Hello all,

I live in Alpharetta GA which is about 20 miles north of Atlanta.

I looking for 2 things a good mechanic shop that specalizes in Mustangs as I will be looking to do various suspension, exhaust, etc. upgrades.

I'm also looking for a local Mustang club.

Any ideas, tips, or leads are appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi there, I live about 20 miles south of Atlanta. There is a car club up your way it's called Northeast mustang club. I think David Osborne is the president of the club. As for parts you have Mustang Unlimited in Lawrenceville, Mustang Parts Specialist in Winder and Dugan Racing also in Lawrenceville.

See ya, Jimmy

I'm a member of Southeast Muscle Cars. One of our members, Donkey, lives in Alpharetta. He used to have a GT, but has since crossed over to the darkside of the force . There are LOTS of GA members there who could tell you who/where. Check it out:

I live out in Buford and work in Winder. I have a great ASE certfied mechanic here in Winder (John Scatterday of Scatts Automotive) who is helping me finish up my 1985 Notch. Should make some nice horsepower. We are doing many custom things with the car. He also performed a complete 2004 SN95 5 lug 4 wheel disc brake swap on my 1988 Mustang GT. He owns a 1967 and 1968 Mustang Coupe one of which he was sponsored and drag raced competitively with. He has access to machining and does all the assembly himself. Any questions give him a call. Cheapest labor rate around and very high quality workmanship.

Before....

After....

Here's the motor for the 85 ready to go in...
