Default Car Show in Ocean City Maryland - May 09

Weekend of May 16...

Does anyone ever head to that? It's not Mustang specific, but the number of cars of all sorts is running way up into the thousands for the weekend! (Maybe 10,000+ ?) It's a lot of fun!

Would love to hook up with some fellow Mustangers this yearR

Yes. Although I can't go...they hold this show on my wifes birthday every year, so I haven't gone in the last 6. Before I was with her I went every year though. heh. There is a large group from my cobra club rolling up for this.

Not sure where the thread is though or I'd link you to it. Btw man, car is lookin' good.

Bring her along!

My wife wouldn't come within 50 miles of the place! So I'll hang out with a lady from work (lives in LaPlata) who come every year with her husband and their '68 Camaro, '70 Chevelle SS454, '00(ish) Camaro SS...they'll probably leave her '03 Corvette behind (noticing a trend yet...?)

And actually, my folks live in Berlin, so I have a free place to stay!

How's it been going - haven't heard much from you here...still have the Fox? I'm thinking to head to MIR on Friday...

LOL, I'd love to bring her, but she hates Ocean City...so no go there. And yes, it sounds like your friends like Chebbies.

I do still have the fox, I"m in the middle of putting the interior back together now. And of course, the vinyl dye doesn't match the rest of the lacquer dyes from 5.0resto. So I'm kinda stuck at the moment. But it's got new carpet, new headliner, and I've re-shot ALL of the interior parts. I'm also re-wiring the stereo and aftermarket gauges. We'll see how she turns out.

I'd go with you to MIR on friday, but I've got nothin' to race. My cobra is getting the trans rebuilt, and the fox has been out of commission for a few years....

I used to go to wildwood in september for the cruise and irish weekend, but mostly for the cruise which the wildwood police put a stop to a few years ago so I wont go back anymore.
I was thinking about ocean city but do they allow cruising at night?
my next idea was virginia beach in october but I have the same question about cruising.
I wouldnt mind the drive if they allowed cruising but im not going to drive over 2 hours and spend the weekend someplace just to walk the boards and look at parked cars, I can do this at any of the local events in my area thru the summer.

It is ALL about cruising! http://www.specialeventpro.com/cruisin.php and do a Google search on 'ocean city cruise week' for videos...

Don't get me wrong, the cops are out in force - they are stopping folks for drinking and WALKING - and a smoky burnout or racing will get you a ticket lickety-quick - but if you act normally the knuckleheads will keep the police busy enough. There are THOUSANDS of cars there...

Anypone going PM me, I'll give you my cell number...
