Default Accuracy of Information

While looking around the new website, I've found some things that are wrong.
1. http://www.mustanggt.org/88gt
'88GT's never had "stainless steel exhausts teamed up with stainless steel tubular headers".
As far as I know, none of the Fox body years had these features.
LX's with 5.0 had stainless steel exhaust tips.

2. http://www.mustanggt.org/gtnumber
There is no such thing as a "GT Hatchback", it was an LX Hatchback which could be optioned with some of the GT's features.

I would have to disagree with number 2.

Your 1985 brochure only proves the point I was trying to make (not very well).

The GT's are hatchbacks but were never referred to as such, your brochure says "3-door."
There are GT's & GT convertibles (even though the GT's that aren't 'verts are what we call hatchbacks).

GT's only came in hatchbacks & convertibles, LX's came in hatchbacks, notchbacks & convertibles.
pics are out of order, don't know why?

Ford never made much sense in designating model names.
Ever heard of a 1970-1/2 Ford Falcon? I had one. All the badges said Falcon, but it was a Torino. No one looking at the car would believe it until I showed them the original owner's manual which said 1970-1/2 Falcon.

I'm a little confused with the point you're trying to make about the GT hatchbacks... so I'll ask so a little more clarification. But this page from the '88 Ford Salesman's Source book clearly refers to "GT hatchbacks"...
