Had 2 cracks in the lower air dam....

Used SEM 2 part bumper repair, little fiberglass filler...and walla.

Little humid out today so I had to stop painting.... brought
it in the garage with the dehumidifier and a heater going...I was able
to finish. Used SEM Charcoal 39153 Bumper Coat.

I will back it out tommorrow for a second pic. This way I will have
the marchal's back in.

Yes I did

As for all the accessories and what not, I used a glass bead cabinet at work, then used a few paints.

Duplicolor Engine Enamels w/ceramic
DE 1615 Aluminum
DE 1635 Ford Semi-Gloss Black

I bought my valve covers from someone and they were powder coated in gunmetal so I found a paint for the upper intake that was a VERY close, almost exact match.

Been awhile since I have updated........

Went to Long Island for a Foureyed BBQ with some friends about a month ago.
There was my friend Paul in his 82GT and my friend Chris with his 79 Orange capri that made the journey that Saturday AM at 4am along my wife and I in the capri.

Kristen (my wife) and I went out for a quick bite to eat later that night after the BBQ, on returning back to the hotel, I was turning at a light, and out of the blue a Acura SUV came through, screeching her brakes. When I saw her, it was took late. If I stopped the door would have got it, so I tried to gun it, but not enough time. Things happen so quick......

The impact sent Kristen into the console and she has a bruise on her arm. We are both a little achy but nothing serious. So I am completely grateful for that. We are both alive and well and being her side of the car, I am really lucky my wife only has a bruise from all this shyt.

- Axle was bent and now replaced.
- Rim was bent now straightened and repaired.
- NOS Rear Quarter on its way to me.
- Another section of rear quarter on its way for some inner sheetmetal needed.
- I have another Hatch, Rear bumper cover, tail light and side marker.

So I have most of what I need and it will hit the body shop for a frame pull and rear quarter replacement soooooon.

I'm curious to see if the frame is bent

My '93 hit in a very similar spot and was declared totalled.

The impact was a little rougher as the hatch and quarter glass shattered.

Also pushed the LR tire out of the well an extra 2-3".

I still have the car and intend to fix it as it is mostly rust free which is rare in my neck of the woods.

Please do let me know the extent of the hidden damage.

Here were a few other shots of my motor from a month ago, was just doing a bit more cleaning. Just picked one of the 5.0 EFI throttle cable brackets from this company.
http://mc-machine.com/mcm_joom/content/view/23/36/

Nice looking cheap mod....and much better looking then the stock one for sure. Being able to put both connections on it and adjustable up and down too.

That's really a beutiful car. I love the detail job you did on it, really makes it look like new. It inspires me to get my lazy butt to work. I'm glad your doing the right thing and not offloading it because of the damage.
I didn't see how much you paid for it, I have a feeling you got a really nice deal on it. You should show it to the previous owner one day so he can drool over what he let go.

Ha...yeah I did get a great deal on the car and the previous owner has seen it a few times. He likes it alot. He is into SSP's more though, so it went to a great home. ME...well minus my damage I did to it

But she is on the road to recovery.

We are still making progress.

Car is 100% straight. New quarter is welded on, door gaps are MINT now.
I can't put my hand in the passenger door gap now! LOL
Door shuts with the lightest pressure to click it in. Very nice.

Car is aside for right now as he has another job to work on. I told him to use my car as a filler as needed since the season is done anyway but he his moving along quite well!

Funny thing....Dave the bodyguy came over to me and gave me the spare glass that was in the black quarter and said he was going to put my original back in with the cool sticker...which would be the foureyedpride sticker...HA!
Love these guys.
