I have absolutely no 'drone' trouble. Conversations, music, etc. can be heard very nicely. We drove from Boston, MA to Central FL with no 'drone headaches'.
I have Flowmaster American Thunder 40's with a BBK H-pipe.

Any comment?????????????
Drone is a by product of most performance mufflers, teh "drone" occurs around 2,000-2,500 rpms. There are a few"performance" mufflers out there that have a lower drone, corsa and magnaflow have some that I know but the sound is toned down some and yes flowmaster is pretty high. If you want even higher toss on some mac's or loudmouth's.
