Could be as simple as shocks/struts, but I would check the suspension and steering for loose or worn parts. I do have a convertable and it's not as tight as a coupe (top noise). If you notice the shake in the steering wheel or seat of your pants, it's likely something worn out.

When I bought ours it had 14 inch aftermarket tires and wheels on it , when I finally chaser down a set of Hurricane rims and Fusion HRI 225/70/R15's then I went through the suspension. All 4 rear shocks and the front struts were pretty easy to get and take off. The coil springs I had to take in to get done. It took a while for me (about 3 years ) to get it where I was comfortable driving over train crossings to. It doesn't bottom out or bounce like it did before. I bought it in the first week of December so I didn't really get in the car for any long rides to get a feel for whats was needed to get updated. I did the brakes and suspension that first winter and every winter after was one more project at a time. Now I'm thinking of going cat-less, my mine is getting all the pictures straight but my gut is saying "what if's" all the while.

hi john, thats for that i think i will have to do the same.I live on a small island on the southern part of the uk, our roads are really bad, so my vert skips about and bottoms out in places, the standard shocks and springs i think are a bit worn out.But it passed the uk mot test just 3 weeks ago!!!!!
