Default How DSO codes Work?

Hello,
I am trying to learn more about DSO codes. Do all Foxbody Mustangs have this code or are some blank? I know the 1st 2 numbers of a DSO are related to a distrist or desendation, and the other one if having them would be for the total number of cars made for that special order. Whats I am not understanding is with is if a car only had 2 numbers would that mean 1 of 1 of that car for that buildsheet? On some areas on the internet I was reading on some sites that having only 2 numbers have no meaning. I have a small stick on the pass side door area by the hinge and interior ligt button, it is white with 3 letters reading ASP sideways very small..And on a 91 GT bucktag what is the meaning of MO?
Thanks Guys Will

ASP is the pcm type your car has. Mine has an a9l sticker right by the interior light button on the passenger jam. There are vin and door tag decoders here for us all to use.

Ohh ok thanks I guess differant stickers were used to control knowing were a batch was. Do you think the computers all had the same value in settings differant in that way? Just wondering if mine ever failed if it would matter witch one that I would replace it with.

You should replace it with the same one. There are small differences such as timing curve, if it's an automatic it will monitor shift points that a manual pcm won't..stuff like that. The odds of it failing are very slim tho.
