It's really exciting to see something from that year in such good condition. I think the car is a novelty and belongs on a showroom floor. If it was mine I'd park it,cover it & only take it out on weekends for car shows or related events.
If you absolutely have to let it go then it really needs to go to a collecter or to a museum somewhere where it can be appreciated for its uniqueness & history. The more it's driven around the more likely it will get dinged up or out & out wrecked.
There has to be a way to get the car on auction or to get the word out in the right circles that it is on the market. You would not want the car to go out to the general public.
Has anyone in your family checked out the cars worth as a collectable?
