what do u think it's worth

Ok everyone, need some help here. I found a nice stang on the internet and wondering what you guys think of the price. It is a '93 cobra, black/grey, 4,300 miles, manual, air, cruise, p.s, p.l., p.w., cassette, sunroof, leather, premium wheels. Blue book shows around 9,000 and that doesn't seem right. Asking price is 20,000. What does everyone think. Thanks for the advice. Have a great weekend.

to me that seems like a fair price for a Cobra with just 4,300 miles since the 93 was one of the lowest produced Cobras next to the 2000R.. I would be sure to ask for all documents on the car if / when you deside to look at it... I have seen several low mile 93 Cobras in the Mustang & Ford Trader for around the same price.. I would also check it out with CarFax also just to be on the safe side.. And take someone along with you that knows what to look for when checking out the car..

Is it a genuine 93 Cobra? Check the VIN, first 8 characters should ONLY be 1FACP42D for the 93 cobra. Anything else and it's NOT a 93 cobra. Now, if it IS a cobra with only 4,800 miles on it, it's probably well worth the $20k.

If the car checks out to be 100% real, have a look at a magazine like Hemmings Motor News for comparison. This place often has folks selling cars like this. You know, ultra low mileage, and low production runs.
The car you are looking at sounds like it could one of the best on the planet.

Thanks everyone, and thanks for offering the email Cobra. O.K., hears the deal. I took the VIN num. off of the add and did the free carfax thing. It said that it is a '93 GT (should it say Cobra ? Or do they just say GT for a Cobra ?) Anyway, it said it had two records on it, so I ordered the package deal thing they offer. I got into that and it showed absolutely no problems...hmmmm, what were the two records ?? http://64.21.184.154/ubb/smile.gif Anyway, the first eight digits showed what Cobra said.
