spoiler question

Is the '91 and '92 stang spoiler the same..and then the '93 different (that little raised one)? I know what the '93 looks like..but I'm not sure about the other two years, is there a diff ? Thanks. My 87 was an LX, so I don't know alot about the spoiler thing in the early 90's, but like the '93 spoiler.

The 87-93GT spoilers are the same. They are raised with air between it and the hatch. The 87-93LX spoilers are not the same as the GT spoiler. No air between the hatch and spoiler. The Pre 87GT spoilers are similar to or the same as the LX spoiler in those years. 93 Cobra has a different spoiler only used on the 93Cobra.

Ford confused things by offering a limited edition Mustang convertible GT in '92 and '93 that had a raised spoiler. This was on a convertible trunk lid and not the hatchback. All other convertibles had a luggage rack.

Just to make things clear about the above post. That was only on the limited edition LX. Not the GT.
