Question with EEC-IV testing

I was reading the stuff on corral on doing the key on engine running test, in it, it says that if you have an E40D automatic trany the Overdrive Cancel Switch must be deactivated, then reactivated. How would I know if I have the E40D trany, and what is the OCS and where would I find it if I do. I have a 93 GT.

E4OD is an Electronically shifted 4-speed OverDrive transmission in vans and full-size trucks. The OCS is the Electronic O/D selector switch on the shifter column.
