86 GT Convertible

Hi there, I've got and 86 GT convertible and have been to one Mustang show. Someone told us that it is rare, because our seats are white. Is this true? I know that we were the only 86 Gt convertible there but thought you might be able to help. Would any one know how many 86 GT Convertibles were released into Canada.
