Can't identify engine type

Just bought a 1982 mustang gt i am confused about the engine i bought a set of gaskets for the fuel intake had to get them for a 302 but on the intake it dosen't say 5.0 HO or anything is it possible this could be a 255 v8 are these intakes interchangeable,and are all 302"s 5.0 HO"s any other markings to identidfy the engine type? thanks..

your 82GT does have a 302 motor, or as most people call them (5.0) and not a 255 V8..
the only difference in your 82 is you have a 2 barrel carb and SROD 4 speed transmission.. and yes the intakes are interchangeable..
