Hey wasss up.Hey wass up.Well im still, yes I said still looking for a mustang. And I think I might of found one.But first I need to sell my car, hopefully i'll get 2,500 or more for my car.Well im looking for a 90 threw 93 lx 5.0 v-8.Yes I want a lx.My quesiton is do u think I could find one for 5,000 with around 90,000 no higher and a good engine and body. The one car I found is a 89 lx sedan. Now my question is,is a 89 engine differnt from a 90,91,92, or 93 enigne. Also is there alot of differnt options and features. Is the interior alot differnt.Let me say this is there anything on a 89 that Im going to dislike that will not be on a 90,91,92, or 93.If that was not clear let me put it like this. Will I regrett getting a 89 instead of a 90,91,92 or 93
I drive a 1990 honda and my parents do not like the fact im looking for an older car.Now I know u guys a skilled on GT but I thought u guys would have some clue on what I saying.

The 1989 could be the most desirable in an LX. I know I wanted one! No air bag, high back bucket seats (only year for them), first year for mass air, and a 140 MPH speedo if you pick in the right build months make these more wanted than some other years.

I've seen these cars really vary in price. It's always about condition! Don't let higher mileage cars scare you if the car has been well cared for, and maintained.

Get to know where they like to break, and other expensive wear items.

Well of course I am biased, but 89 has no air bag, which is a plus for me. Has low fuel, check oil, monitor dash lights, (in addition to the gauges). I am told 90 did away with that little cluster. 90's and up have door map pouches. I do miss them some days. Still has mass air, if you are into mods.

Whats so good about no air bags and high bucket seat. What are high bucket seat.I heard the guages don't go to 140.Also what do u mena when u say map pouches. "Still has mass air" does the 90,91,92, and 93 have mass air.And the map pouches what are they and u say 89 don't have the map pouches but 90,91,92, and 93 do.O the car im looking at has blue interior. Anyone ever see that color for the inside

"Whats so good about no air bags and high bucket seat. What are high bucket seat.I heard the guages don't go to 140."

The air bag to me is just one more thing to be concerned about if you get a light hit. They cost $ to fix/repack. LX's generally had the low back bucket seats, and some people prefer the high back ones the GT had.
All LX and GT's cars built after some in for the 1989 model got the more desirable 140 MPH speedo. And all 5.0 Fox cars after 1988 got mass air.

Hmmmm. 89 LX's are good huh? well it seems to make sense then that there is this one guy who always has one or two in the local paper. always 5.0, usually notchbacks, and for around $4 G's for the "good" ones i guess, and around 2 for the "fixer-uppers" ..usually all around 100K mi too.

Lol and im sure all u guys would agree... 89 GT over a 90 LX 4-banger? ..yea why'd i ask =P
