i was told that the GT i have bought was a "limited" production, due to the color. It is a Cobra Red....and there were few GT's with the Cobra Red...

is this true?

What is the Exterior Paint Color code on the Certification Label?

Colors unique to the '93 SVT Mustang Cobra were Teal Clearcoat Metallic, Vibrant Red, and Black Clearcoat. The color unique to the '93 SVT Mustang Cobra R was Performance Red.

Colors unique to the '93 LX Limited Editions were Canary Yellow Clearcoat and Oxford White.

Correction: The paint color of all 107 1993 SVT Cobra R's was Vibrant Red, same as the Vibrant Red 1993 Cobras. The 2000 R's were painted a color called Performance Red.

Also, the Black Clearcoat on some 1993 SVT Cobras was NOT unique to the Cobra line; it's the same Black Clearcoat (1C) used from 1987-1993.

We seem to be going over this a lot lately. Vibrant red and Performance red are exactly the same, thus the same code, ES.

Your '93 what?

Bright Red, Vibrant Red, and Electric Red w/Titanium were the only three factory hues of red available for '93 Mustangs.

I'd go with the actual paint code.
