Ok...I don't know exactly what you mean by "body control" but I can try to help you with the options part. In the 88 and 89 mustangs, there were no airbags, so the steering wheel was a little smaller, but still had cruise control. In addition, there was a locking gas cap with an unlocking mechanism in the glove compartment. This was the only way to open the gas cap. Also, the dome light was actually a map light, that you could rotate and aim in any direction in the car. The interior was either all cloth or all leather as far as I know...none of this half cloth/half vinyl crap.
In 1990, the airbag became manditory so the steering wheel got bigger while retaining the cruise control controls. The map light changed to the dome light and the locking gas cap was eliminated. There were some engine differences as well, and I believe the body style had no changes. The chasis and suspension system had no changes either. Hope that helps.
