Recently Ive been looking for an engine rebuilder, Ive gone to a few of them, and sat down and talked about cost and stuff. one time we where discussing the original pistons on the 1985 GT. I swore up and down that the pistons on the 1985 GT where forged ,they looked at me and said that they have never seen any vehicle made with factory pistons that where forged .They said that who ever told me this lied . Is this ture or what ?

Yes they are Forged pistons in the 4V HO T-5 85GT's, and they were made by TRW.. Go back and tell em that there crazy.. Even more so go and make a bet on it, and maybe you will get one or them to take you up on it and make some rebuild money to boot..
