There are a lot of other factors you have to consider. I have a fairly stock '90 hatchback (3.08 gears, stock engine but a bigger throttle body, cold air induction, lowered suspension, and Flowmasters) and while southbound on I5 once, I took that baby up to 135 mph and still had pedal left. But I'm sure if I swapped in the Edelbrock heads and intake that I so desperately crave, plus I finally bolt on the JBA headers and H pipe sitting in my garage, and swap in an E cam I'll have even more pedal left! http://64.21.184.154/ubb/biggrin.gif
So your top speed question has a lot of open ended factors.
