How many splines does a 87 - 93 axle shaft have on a 8.8" rear end ? Anyone Know this ?

28 spline i beleave is standard and 31 is heavy duty

28-spline is passenger cars and light trucks

31-spline is full-size trucks and SUVs

Mustang is originally equipped with 7.5" rear '79-'85 all models and '86-up non-V-8

Mustang is originally equipped with 8.8" rear '86-up V-8 only
